Office Hours are by appointment only. This reduces waiting time. However, patients do not become ill on schedule and emergencies do occur, causing occasional unavoidable delays. We try to adhere to our schedule as much as possible.

If you are a new patient, please arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out paper work. Office visits for established patients usually take 20 minutes. Please let our office know if you are due to have a complete physical, so that appropriate time is allotted for the examination.

Cancellation of Appointments:

If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible, andno later than 24 hours before scheduled appointment. This courtesy will allow us to give that time to another patient.

Laboratory Tests:

Electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, rapid Strept test, urine analysis and stool occult blood tests are done in the office. Other specialized tests and Radiological procedures are performed  through NYU Medical Center or labs participating in your particular insurance and most results are available within 1-3 days. Please set up MYCHART account so that you can have access to your blood tests reports online and you can send email to your physician and even make future appointments.

Telephone Calls:

The doctor/patient relationship is a privileged one. We do not give out information about you without your consent. Please do not ask for telephone prescriptions unless the doctor has recently examined you for that particular problem. Patients taking medications chronically are usually given enough medication and automatic refills so they will not run out of medication before their next office visit or yearly physical. We prefer that routine calls are made during regular office hours.

Our fees are very reasonable and comparable to those charged by other physicians in the area. Laboratory studies and procedures performed outside the office are billed entirely separately by the facilities rendering the services.
